@TomFontana how do you get your fingers to not interfere with the other strings, its seems so impossible.

I am struggling with changeingfrom one chord to another, but I know it all takes practice. I really love playing a guitar, but I guess I lack encouragement from my family, they think that I can’t do, but I am determined to do it and this guy is great, thanks a lot

Once you get the chords right, what you should do if practice chord changes. So go to one chord, strum, then change to another, and strum, then back to the first. This helps a lot with being able to not only do it quicker, but more accurately, and when you get to songs which have lots of chord changes, like a chord a beat, this’ll help a lot.

@qqmoarploxify The interaction and live feedback from a live teacher is a big help, but in the end, learning guitar depends on how much you practice at home. If you are diligent, you can teach yourself guitar via the internet, but if you have money to spare, get private lessons, the interaction of a live teacher is a big advantage. Either way you go, remember to practice as much as you can, preferably every day, but at least every other day.

@TomFontana Should I take lessons or do you think if I watch all the videos of these lessons that paying about 70bucks a month for lessons would be a waste?

@qqmoarploxify :-) I so remember that thats what I thought in the beginning as well, and actually, the same with most other chords :-)
Just practice it, experiment with moving your wrist around a bit to get the right position, and you’ll get it.
