    @Grafikbug Valid point. We will try to be more consistent in the future videos. The reason why Mike actually showed the Dm chord was because of the alternate fingers he used for this particular song (pinky instead of ring) in order to accomodate the walking base line. The other 2 chords were in their actual form.

    You show how to play the Dm but not the Bb and the C.

    @torrinsonline,

    Right on Mike. For whatever reason the ring finger falls easier for me but I think the pinky will be superior when it becomes part of my muscle memory. I just don’t use the Dm that often, but it’s because I haven’t been learning the chords I should be. After playing for over 20 years I decided to get serious and expand my chord base. Thanks for the help Mike.

  15. torrinsonline says:

    @Greyswyndir A lot of guitar instructors find it better using the pinky as it falls more naturally. With ring finger there is usually a little more stretch involved. Having said that, either way is completely fine.

    @torrinsonline,

    I’m having trouble transitioning from the C to the Dm but I’m getting it (using the pinky instead of the ring finger). I already have the electric version down. The acoustic version takes a bit more skill in my opinion. Thanks for the video and keep on keepin’ on.

    @Greyswyndir Thanks.

  23. torrinsonline says:

    @MrShway88 Sure, you can play with an acoustic. Mike just decided to use electric.

  24. MrShway88 says:

    Isn’t the unplugged played with an acoustic?

  25. torrinsonline says:

    @Thedaftpunker24 thanks a lot man.
